UNC: Derelict Freighter is an Assignment in Mass Effect. UNC: Derelict Freighter is about exploring the Cornucopia, a Kowloon Class modular conveyor of human design. Assignments are secondary quests in Mass Effect, that are not mandatory to progress the game's story, but provide context and flavor by meeting interesting NPCs of all kind of Races, granting additional experience, and letting the player visit extraordinary and unique planets.

UNC: Derelict Freighter Walkthrough

The MSV Cornucopia can be found in the Asteroid Belt in the Carpian System of the Marron Sea Cluster, it can be reached once the main Mission on Feros is completed. 

The only enemy type you will be facing are Husks, although not extremely dangerous, you will be fighting in tight quarters and enclosed space, so this can turn to be more difficult than expected. 

Bring Hammerhead Rounds, High Explosive Rounds or Sledgehammer Rounds to knock them down and prevent the Enemies to swarm you. 

Once you enter the ship, reach the main hold to find a good amount of Husks. The will spawn in waves as you progress through the area. They may even spawn behind you depending on the speed and order you traverse the room, so keep that in mind and don't rush blindly.

After the Husks are gone, make your way to the cockpit. Access the navigation computer to discover what happened to the original crew of the Cornucopia. This will grant you the Assignment and label it as completed.

How to unlock UNC: Derelict Freighter

• Strangely enough, to obtain UNC: Derelich Freighter is marked complete upon receipt and obtained after finishing it.
