Wrex: Family Armor is an Assignment in Mass Effect. Wrex: Family Armor is the personal Assignment of Urdnot Wrex. Assignments are secondary quests in Mass Effect, that are not mandatory to progress the game's story, but provide context and flavor by meeting interesting NPCs of all kind of Races, granting additional experience, and letting the player visit extraordinary and unique planets.

Preparation
Wrex requests to be brought along if you get the Assignment from him, but it is your decision if you want to do it.
Tuntau
Once you land on Tuntau, you can find the hidden structure directly south of the landing site. It is set into a crater. At the exterior of the building, you will find two Pirate Snipers and a Pirate. Although they are not particularly hard, mind the Snipers, as their Assassination ability can deal a lot of damage.
Once you are done with them, enter the warehouse.
As soon as you enter, save your game. Some dialogue will differ depending on how you obtained this Assignment and if Wrex is present.
When you enter the main room, you will find two Pirate Snipers, six Pirates and Tonn Actus in the room. Assuming you venture beyond the doorway, a good cover area is at the other end. Once there, take cover and take out the Pirates.
Focus on the Pirates and Tonn Actus first, because they are the bigger threats. The Pirate Snipers will switch their Weapons to Pistols for this fight due to their sight being obscured by the obstacles all around. Try to pick one enemy at a time.
The Pirates and Tonn Actus use Immunity frequently, so keep that in mind.
Once all Enemies are down, you can explore the facility freely to find some crates. You can find a Medical Kit, a Malfunctioning Object, a Hardened Crate and a Crate. On the second floor, you can find another Medical Kit, an Upgrade Kit, a Wetware Kit, a Technician Kit and in the wall safe, you can obtain Wrex's Armor.
How to unlock Wrex: Family Armor
You can obtain Wrex: Family Armor in one of two ways.
- By approaching Urdnot Wrex multiple times on the Normandy, and delve into his past, he will eventually tell Commander Shepard about this Armor's existence.
- You can also acquire it by visiting the hidden structure on Tuntau, in the Phoenix system of Argos Rho.
