Feros: Power Cells is an Assignment in Mass Effect. Feros: Power Cells is about restoring power to the colony in Feros. Assignments are secondary quests in Mass Effect, that are not mandatory to progress the game's story, but provide context and flavor by meeting interesting NPCs of all kind of Races, granting additional experience, and letting the player visit extraordinary and unique planets.
Feros: Power Cells Walkthrough
May O'Donnell will ask you to obtain the power cells in order to power the generator and grant energy to the colony. You can find them down in the tunnels, in a heavily damaged vehicle.
First head towards the elevator to the skyway, and take the stairs beyond it down. Once in the tunnels, you will meet Geth resistance, fight them if this has not been done already. After going through some doors about halway along the tunnels, you will be treated to a cutscene showing some hungry Varren willing to transform you into their appetizer. Kill all the attacking Varren and this will unlock Feros: Varren Meat if you don't have it yet.
Now, approach the vehicle and look at the front, examine the fuel compartment to recover the power cells. Leave the tunnels, and return to May to obtain Credits and Omni-Gel. You will also get 8 Paragon points.
How to unlock Feros: Power Cells
- To obtain Feros: Power Cells you need to speak to May O'Connell, near the entrance to the colony. You can also obtain the Assignment by recovering the Power Cells before talking to her.
