UNC: Listening Post Theta is an Assignment in Mass Effect. UNC: Listening Post Theta is __description__. Assignments are secondary quests in Mass Effect, that are not mandatory to progress the game's story, but provide context and flavor by meeting interesting NPCs of all kind of Races, granting additional experience, and letting the player visit extraordinary and unique planets.

UNC: Listening Post Theta Walkthrough

Head to Altahe. the second planet in the Acheron System of the Styx Theta cluster. Land on it, and head to the base at the south of the map. Said base is defended by four nests with three Rachni Soldiers each.
Approach them one at a time to avoid being overwhelmed by Enemies.

Once you have dealt with the outside guardians, enter the base. There are not many Enemies right now, just head to the first room to find 2 Weapons lockers behind the defense barrier in the middle of the room.

Lead to the main room, to find 2 Rachni Soldiers and 7 Rachni Workers. Defeat them, preferably at a safe distance.

Head to the door and grab the upgrade kit near the door to the rest of the base.

You will be able to enter a room to the left and one to the right.

The one on the left has 2 Storage lockers, a malfunctioning object and a wetware kit. On the other hand, the one on the right. has a malfunctioning object and a terminal at the other end. Access the Emergency FTL Comm to the left of the terminal to hear a distress call from Lieutenant Durand and get the UNC: Listening Post Alpha if you haven't completed it already. If you did, you will be given UNC: Depot Sigma-23 instead.

How to unlock UNC: Listening Post Theta

You can obtain UNC: Listening Post Theta in one of two ways.

After completing UNC: Listening Post Alpha you will receive this Assignment immediately.
The other way to acquire UNC: Listening Post Theta, is by entering the base on Altahe.
