Citadel: The Fourth Estate is an Assignment in Mass Effect. Citadel: The Fourth Estate is focused around a reporter asking Commander Shepard about general topics that are top priority for the galaxy. Assignments are secondary quests in Mass Effect, that are not mandatory to progress the game's story, but provide context and flavor by meeting interesting NPCs of all kind of Races, granting additional experience, and letting the player visit extraordinary and unique planets.
Citadel: The Fourth Estate Walkthrough
If you agree to be interviewed, she asks questions about you spectre status, the Normandy, and whether if the Citadel Council's interests conflict with those of the Alliance. You can answer each question or simply tell her to go away. Using Charm or Intimidate responses, most of the time give you the upper hand during the interview, including a Renegade option that involves you punching her in the face.
Later aboard the Normandy, you will receive a transmission from Admiral Hackett at the Fifth Fleet. He will praise or reprimand you for the conduct during the interview, depending on your choices.
If you used Charm or Intimidate skills during the interview, the morality points will be earned only after Admiral Hackett's briefings about the interview.
How to unlock Citadel: The Fourth Estate
- To obtain Citadel: The Fourth Estate, you need to first complete one of the core Missions (Feros, Noveria or Therum) and return to the Citadel. A reporter will approach you outside the C-Sec Academy. She's called Khalisah Al-Jilani and is a Westerlund News reporter who wants to show the people how the first human spectre will represent them.
