Citadel: Negotiator's Request is an Assignment in Mass Effect. Citadel: Negotiator's Request is __description__. Assignments are secondary quests in Mass Effect, that are not mandatory to progress the game's story, but provide context and flavor by meeting interesting NPCs of all kind of Races, granting additional experience, and letting the player visit extraordinary and unique planets.

Citadel: Negotiator's Request Walkthrough

Once you talk to the diplomat, he introduces himself as Mr. Keeler, an Alliance negotiator. He is in desperate need of a mental stimulant for an important upcoming negotiation with the Salarians. Once the conversation ends, you can realize that Keeler is clearly an addict. Keeler claims he needs to be at the meeting, otherwise his assistant Thomas Kent will take over. He thinks Kent is an alien sympathizer.

You have 3 ways of dealing with this situation.

Use your Charm or Intimidate options to talk him out of it. You need 8 points in Charm and you will get 8 Paragon points. You need 7 Points in Intimidate to earn 2 Renegade Points. Keeler leaves to get treatment and Kent will take over the negotiation.
Pick up the stim at the Med Clinic and bring it back to Keeler. He'll take it and if you manaeged to talk him to get treatment he will, after the sessions complete. You get 2 Paragon points.
Go to the clinic and buy the depressant from Dr. Michel. Give it to him, he will become drowsy immediately. You earn 9 Renegade Points.

If you ride the elevator later on, you may hear a news story about how the negotiations went, and also who finally conducted them according to what you did.

How to unlock Citadel: Negotiator's Request

To obtain Citadel: Negotiator's Request, you need to first complete one of the core Missions (Feros, Noveria or Therum) and return to the Citadel. Captain Anderson summons you at Flux and you will see a diplomat waiting on the right of the entrance.
