Earthborn is a Pre-service History in Mass Effect. Earthborn represents the first of many choices that affect how characters will react to you during gameplay and grants renegade bonus points. The Pre-service History your choices here affect the storyline by accessing exclusive assignments (side quests) and Shepard's dialogues with various NPCs during the career.
Earthborn Information
You were an orphan raised on the streets of the great megatropolises covering Earth. You escaped the life of petty crime and underworld gangs by enlisting with the Alliance military when you turned eighteen.
Morality System Bonus:
- Grants Renegade bonus points.
Earthborn Unique Assignment
The Earthborn background also as Spacer and Colonist, have a unique Assignment. A member of a gang Shepard belonged to in youth will approach Shepard outside Chora's Den in the Citadel Wards. Shepard is asked to help free a member of the gang from a turian in the bar.
