Hardening is a Defensive Stat in Mass Effect. Hardening provides protection against both Biotic and Tech attacks. Defensive Stats are determined by your Class Talent and Equipment.

How to increase Hardening
- The three different talent trees of Armor, grant an amount of Hardening (Basic Armor, Combat Armor and Tactical Armor)
- You can increase the amount of Hardening with three different Armor Upgrades: Energized Weave, Hardened Weave and Combat Exoskeleton
