Garrus Vakarian is a Companion and NPC character in Mass Effect. Garrus Vakarian is a Turian that is first seen working as a C-Sec Agent. Companions assist the player by joining his/her party and have their own backstories, unique perks and quirks. They all have their own Classes and Talents. Companions may or may not join your team according to your decisions during the game.

Garrus Vakarian Information
Garrus Vakarian is a Turian, and as is custom in his Race, had his military training at fifteen, but decided to follow his father's footsteps and become a C-Sec officer.
His unique class is called Turian Agent and can be seen as a variant of the Infiltrator specialization class, featuring both Combat and Tech abilities. When leveling up his class, he improves his accuracy with all Weapons and further amplifies the damage output of Sniper Rifles and Assault Rifles

Where to find Garrus Vakarian
Garrus Vakarian can be first found at the Citadel, discussing with another C-Sec member. He can be recruited after completing the Citadel: Garrus.
Garrus Vakarian Personal Assignment
Garrus Vakarian's personal Assignment is called Garrus: Find Dr. Saleon. It can be acquired after talking many times to the Turian and asking about his C-Sec history. He will eventually open up, to tell Commander Shepard about how Dr. Saleon, a Salarian geneticist, has escaped him when he was within his grasp.
