Disables enemy biotics and tech for a percentage of their normal recharge time; also stuns enemies for a short duration. Damping is delivered as a proximity mine that explodes when enemies are nearby for bonus damage.

Damping Ability is an Ability in Mass Effect. Damping Ability belongs to the Damping talent and is available to Infiltrator and Engineer Classes. Abilities are special passive or active tactics that players can learn by becoming increasingly more skilled in any given Talent. As you level up, you'll be able to upgrade each Ability up to three times.

Damping is delivered as a proximity mine that explodes when enemies are nearby for bonus damage. Damage: 50 damage in a 6m radius. Stuns basic enemies for 3s. Enemy Cooldown: Adds 30% cooldown time to enemy biotic or tech talents. Recharge Time: 60 sec. Accuracy Cost: 60%
6 Lvl Advanced Damping Ability Increases Damping parameters and proximity mine effects while reducing recharge time. Stuns enemies up to Elite level. Damage: 100 damage in an 8m radius. Stuns most enemies for 3s. Enemy Cooldown: Adds 45% cooldown time to enemy biotic or tech talents. Recharge Time: 50 sec. Accuracy Cost: 60%
12 Lvl Master Damping Ability Further Increases Damping parameters and proximity mine effects while reducing recharge time. Stuns enemies up to Sub-Boss level. Damage: 100 damage in a 10m radius. Stuns all but the toughest enemies for 3s.
Enemy Cooldown: Adds 60% cooldown time to enemy biotic or tech talents. Recharge Time: 40 sec. Accuracy Cost: 60%
