Athens is one of the four systems located inside the Artemis Tau cluster in Mass Effect. Athens is named after the capital of Greece, and all the planets within it are named after characters or locations associated with Ancient Egypt and Greece.
There are no planets to land or ship to board on Athens. This is the only system in Mass Effect with this particularity
